My Thoughts:
I thought this movie was completely adorable! Surprisingly I haven't read the book, but I do have a lot of Dr. Seuss books. And honestly, I didn't know the story of The Lorax, but it was really cute. I think even adults would love this movie, because I did. I got it because of my son, and I thought he would want to watch it, but I ended up watching it by myself while he was at school one day. He said "awww mom, I wanted to watch it!" So it looks like I'll be watching it again.
I haven't seen the other recent Dr. Seuss movies. Like Horton Hears a Who or The Cat in the Hat, but that's on my never ending list. I did like How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Just because it was Dr. Seuss I knew it would be good, because you can't mess up Dr. Seuss' stories! They're too good for that. So I say watch it!

Aaawwww. Thank you so much! I saw it on your page. And it made me want to watch it even more, plus me having a kid. I'm never too old to watch animated movies. I think they're the best.
DeleteAnd the Lorax was too adorable to pass up. I'll definitely add Horton Hears a Who and Cat in the Hat to my list and review those. Who doesn't love Jim Carrey and Steve Carell right?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are quite awesome yourself!
I loved this movie. I read the book to my niece and then her mom bought it for her and we watched it one day. She wanted to watch it over and over but I wouldn't let her lol. It is so cute and a great story. I have seen part of the cat in the hat and I really did not like it. Horton Hears a Who wasn't bad. I also like How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI loved How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I'm gonna watch Horton Hears a Who soon and I'll do a review on that.
